Central Florida Pool Leagues is proud to announce, The Diamond Ring Game League. This weekly Billiard Tournament and League Format will be the NEW format for Billiard Tournaments and future billiard events. Patterned after the World Series of Poker Tour and the Derby City Classic Ring Games, the Ring Game is for the serious pool player. It allows the opportunity to get in more play time against more opponents without the obligation to play each week or keep a team together.

Are you tired of playing a short race and then sitting long periods waiting for your next match?

Are you tired of the complicated scorekeeping, sitting all night keeping score for all the team matches?

Are you tired of mismatched handicaps?

The Ring Game is for you!

Continuous play for all 7 players in each match. Get in the Game! It is fast paced and exciting for players and spectators alike due to the Total Offense Strategy.

Jump Shots, Long Shots, Banks, Kicks, and Trick Shots!

There is no advantage to playing safe and penalties for it also. It is a pool shootout and the advantage is to the aggressive and skilled player.

** No Monies are paid out nightly. Points are awarded each week. To be eligible for the FINALS Championship, you must be a Diamond VIP Club Member, play a minimum of 6 weekly events and have a minimum of 250 points. The highest six points leaders at the end of the 14 week session will be selected to play a Finals Ring Game Championship for the trophy and the Prize Fund. No entry fee for the FINALS - All six places are paid! $300 minimum purse guaranteed for each location and session. All 6 places in the FINALS are paid. (Purse is based on # of players per week during the 14 week session and may increase dramatically based on the number of player weeks)

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS!

The Game - 10 Ball -Up to Seven players on one table alternating turns. Play till you are out of points in your bank each night. Play only on the nights you want. The players that are present each night are placed into equal matches with up to 7 players in each match on one table. Each match is played till one person remains. When you are out of points, you are out of the match for the night (and can go home) Points are assigned for your finish from each match played that night. A running total of points are maintained and posted during the session. At the end of the 14 week session, the top 6 points leaders (that meet the minimum play requirements** SEE ABOVE) are selected to play in a FINALS Six Person Ring Game for the Prize Fund.

THE PLAYERS

Open to all Levels of Players - No Teams - No Obligations to be there each week or to play

RING GAME LEAGUE FORMAT

Up to Seven Players start out each match with 3,000 Points in their bank. The playlist for the night and the order of play are established by Player Level and random draw at the discretion of the League Operator. The game is 10 ball, Total Offense - No Intentional Defensive Play is allowed. Players alternate turns, one after the other until all players have been at the table. Then the first player is up again.

Players play 5 games in this order with each game worth 300 points. The player making the 10 ball in each game collects the points and breaks the next game.

After the 5th Game, the order is redrawn and the stakes go to 500 points per game for games 6-10.

Play continues for 5 more games. After game #10, the order is again redrawn and the winner of game #10 breaks game #11. The value of each game is also increased to 1,000 points per game in game #11-15.

When a player is out of points, he (or she) is OUT OF THE GAME!

Play continues for 5 more games with the value increased to 2,000 points per game in games #16-20 and again the order is redrawn.

If more than 2 players remain after game #20, the stakes are increased to 4,000 points per game and then to the lowest player's point total, ALL IN!

When only two players remain, winner breaks and the stakes go to ALL IN which is the amount held by the player with the least amount of points.

Introduced at the 2004 Derby City this exciting new format is sure to become the choice for players and spectators alike.
